Before Cidar Millpond House became a recovery residence, it was an old barn filled with clutter and years of accumulated belongings. While many saw a building in need of extensive work, Paula and Paul saw the opportunity to create a safe, supportive place for people in recovery.
The transformation was a true labor of love. Much of the renovation was completed by individuals in recovery, making every repaired wall and restored room a reflection of perseverance, hard work, and second chances.
Like recovery itself, this house was given new purpose and new life. Today, it stands as a home built by people who understand recovery, for people pursuing recovery—a place of hope, resilience, and new beginnings.
Built by hands in recovery. Dedicated to those seeking recovery. Inspired by the friends who helped make it possible.
